Oil on canvas copy after Alphonse Mucha 'The Primrose', (left),'Painting'(middle)1898 and 'The Feather' ( right) 1899. These symbolic figures, complete with Mucha's customary aureoles around their heads and diadems in their hair, comprise one of his best panel sets.

I hope you all like it, comments and critics are most welcome. :D

having just seen an exhibit of his today, you really do his work proud - excellent reproductions in the details, and you really re-captured the warmth of his colors

Outstanding work! I love all three! (Course I love Mucha's work so no surprise there.) Are the originals (the ones Mucha did) oils too? I always thought they were watercolour...

Thank you so much, i'm really glad you like them.:glomp: Because they were used for a commercial purpose, mucha's posters were made as lithographs, but his preliminary sketches, i think they were made, as you said, in watercolor and gouache. Also it was easier for me to make them in oil :D

Ah yes, I knew about the lithographs. Well, You are really good at oils! I've tried oils, but I stick with acrylics for the most part. Keep up the awesome work!

I always like Alphonse Mucha. It's not easy to copy all that detail, but these look great.
